MINDFULNESS is one of the cornerstones of our space and mindfulness meditation practice is therefore a core offering at our studio. Our mindfulness meditation teachers are all trained and committed to this powerful and life changing practice. Each class is a half an hour long and guided by a trained professional. Each class differs offering a wide variety of techniques from a myriad of traditions so students can try on different meditation technologies and find what works best for their individual temperament. Plus working with different techniques is engaging, explorative and fun as you learn to work more harmoniously with your mind and psyche.

Traditionally in the yoga world, the physical postures of yoga were intended for the sole purpose of opening the body and the channels of energy within the body to prepare for the ensuing practice of meditation! Our state-of-the-art studio is equipped with chairs, cushions, blankets, mats and props to support a comfortable experience while meditating. Furthermore, you are welcomed to lie flat at any point during the meditation if that is most comfortable for you.  And since alignment is our specialty, our teachers can assist you with finding the most supported and easeful position for you to enhance your mindfulness meditation experience.


Sanctuary Yoga and Mindfulness is the ONLY yoga studio in Center City Philadelphia that offers daily mindfulness meditation as part of our regular schedule, 7 days a week, most days 2-3x a day.
